This Privacy Policy describes how Beklik Event ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile application Beklik Event ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Profile Information: Display name, preferred field format (5v5, 7v7, 8v8), and profile avatar image that you choose to set
  • Booking Data: Information about your field bookings including dates, times, venue preferences, field type, and player count
  • Event & Team Data: Player names, skill levels, team assignments, and check-in status when using the team management features
  • User Preferences: Your settings and preferences within the App
  • Support Communications: When you contact us through the contact form, we may collect your message and any images you attach

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (including Android Advertising ID / GAID), and app version
  • Usage Data: App usage patterns, booking patterns, peak usage hours, and feature interactions
  • Installation Source: Information about how you installed the App and advertising campaign attribution data

2.3 Location Data

With your explicit permission, we collect:

  • Precise Location (GPS): To find football fields near you and display them on the map
  • Approximate Location: General location area for venue discovery and distance calculation

Location data is collected only when the App is in use and you have granted permission. Your location is cached locally on your device for up to 1 hour to improve performance. You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.

2.4 Calendar Access

With your permission, the App accesses your device calendar to:

  • Add booking reminders with venue name, field type, player count, and price details
  • Set a 30-minute reminder before your booking

Calendar data is written directly to your device's native calendar and is not transmitted to our servers. Calendar access is optional and requires your explicit permission.

2.5 Camera and Photo Access

The App may request access to:

  • Photo Gallery: To select a profile avatar image (resized to max 500x500 pixels)
  • Camera: To scan venue stamps using the stamp scanner feature

Photos and camera are only accessed when you actively initiate the action. We do not access your camera or photos in the background.

2.6 QR Code Data

The App generates QR codes for booking check-in that contain:

  • Booking ID, venue ID, field type, and booking times
  • A cryptographic checksum (HMAC-SHA256) for validation

You may save these QR codes to your device's photo gallery for convenient access.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Core App Features: To provide field booking, venue discovery, QR code check-in, and team management functionality
  • Personalization: To remember your preferences and provide a customized experience
  • Location Services: To show nearby football fields on an interactive map and calculate distances
  • Calendar Integration: To create booking reminders when you choose to add them to your calendar
  • Local Analytics: To display your personal booking statistics, peak hours, and usage patterns within the App
  • Marketing Attribution: To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns via AppsFlyer
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues
  • Security: To validate booking QR codes and prevent fraud

4. Data Storage and Retention

Local Data Storage

Most of your data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. This includes:

  • Profile information (display name, avatar, preferences)
  • Booking history and statistics
  • Cached location data (up to 1 hour) and stadium information (up to 30 days)
  • Event and team management data

This data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear the App data through your device settings.

Third-Party Data

Attribution Data: Device advertising identifiers and attribution data processed by AppsFlyer are retained according to their retention policy.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services that collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:

AppsFlyer (Attribution and Analytics)

We use AppsFlyer to understand how users discover and interact with our App. AppsFlyer may collect:

  • Device identifiers (including Advertising ID) for attribution
  • Installation source and campaign data
  • IP address and app usage events

OpenStreetMap (Map Services)

We use OpenStreetMap (via CartoDB tiles) for map display and venue location services. When using map features, tile requests are sent to map tile servers which may log your IP address.

Overpass API (Stadium Data)

We query the Overpass API to find stadiums and football fields near your location. These queries include your approximate location coordinates.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party analytics and attribution providers as described above
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental request
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or others
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

No Account Required: You can use the App without creating an account or providing personal registration information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Location Permission: You can enable or disable location access in your device settings at any time
  • Calendar Permission: You can enable or disable calendar access in your device settings
  • Camera/Photo Permission: You can enable or disable camera and photo access in your device settings
  • Advertising ID: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads)
  • Data Deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device
  • Access and Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

  • Local Storage Security: Data stored on your device is protected by your device's security features
  • Secure Transmission: Data transmitted over the internet uses HTTPS encryption
  • QR Code Security: Booking QR codes include HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic checksums to prevent tampering
  • Limited Data Collection: We minimize the data we collect to what is necessary for App functionality

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own through our third-party service providers (such as AppsFlyer and OpenStreetMap). These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Our third-party service providers maintain appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
